The last research seminar of 2024’s Trinitarian Ontologies & Relationality series of research seminars took place on 16 December 2024 at 13:00 in the Rotunda of the CMTF UP. The lecture was given by a special guest from Italy, Dr. Matteo Raffaelli. The topic was In-ek-con-sistence.
“Dr. Raffaelli has long been involved in the reconstruction of triadic (trinitarian) ontotheology and the resulting impetus for harmonious solutions to contemporary problems of globalization, intercultural dialogue and technological transformation of society. In the last ten years he has collaborated on a number of international scientific projects in the field of artificial intelligence,” said Dr. Eduard Fiedler, one of the organizers of the seminars.
The research seminar was filmed as part of a artistic documentary project with film director Václav Kadrnka. In collaboration with the research group Triertium, he is in the process of preparing a feature-length artistic documentary Triunity about the Trinity and the Trinitarian vision of reality.
Matteo Raffaelli studied philosophy at the University of Pisa and in 2008 he received his PhD in philosophy from the Faculty of Humanities and Cultural Studies at the University of Bamberg (Germany). His dissertation Macht, Weisheit, Liebe: Campanella und Comenius als Vordenker einer friedvoll globalisierten Weltgemeinschaft (Power, Wisdom, Love: Campanella and Comenius as Forerunners of a Peaceful Global World Community) was included in the series Schriften zur Triadik und Ontodynamik (Writings on Triadic and Ontodynamic). Raffaelli’s aim in this book is to use the Augustinian background developed in the early modern period in the doctrine of the three primalities of Thomas Campanella (1568-1639) and in the pansophy of Jan Amos Comenius (1592-1670) to reveal the forgotten possibilities through which the crises caused by globalization could be overcome today.
